S&P drops Diagnostic Imaging outlook to negative

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on Diagnostic Imaging Group LLC to negative from stable.

At the same time, the agency said it affirmed its ratings on the company, including its B corporate credit rating.

The low speculative-grade rating on Diagnostic Imaging reflects the company's recurring challenges in managing operations and liquidity, its relatively small presence in the fragmented and competitive medical imaging field, geographic concentration, and reimbursement risk, the agency added.

"Despite generating positive free operating cash flow for the past six quarters, Diagnostic Imaging could have insufficient liquidity for adverse events," said S&P credit analyst Cheryl E. Richer.
