AK Steel files automatic shelf registration covering debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., April 26 - AK Steel Corp. and AK Steel Holding Corp. jointly filed a debt securities and guarantees automatic shelf registration in an S-3-ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

AK Steel is based in West Chester, Ohio, and produces flat-rolled carbon, stainless and electrical steels and tubular products.
