Children's Hospital Medical Center, Ohio, plans $93 million bond deal

New York, April 22 - The Akron, Bath and Copley Joint Township Hospital District of Ohio plans to sell $93 million of series 2013 hospital improvement revenue bonds for the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (A1//A+) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Goldman, Sachs & Co. as the underwriter.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to construct, equip, acquire and furnish a new critical care tower at the medical center.
