SPCP Group, Special Situations Investing buy $15.66 million in claims against Delphi

Eugene, Ore., July 25 - SPCP Group LLC and Special Situations Investing Group, Inc. bought a total of $15.66 million in claims against Delphi Corp., according to Tuesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

SPCP bought Osram Sylvania, Inc's $1.10 million claim against Delphi.

Special Situations bought Merrill Lynch Credit Products LLC's $11.78 million claim and $2.78 million claims against Delphi.

Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
