Delphi creditors buy $25.19 million in claims against company

Pittsburgh, April 3 - Delphi Corp. creditors bought $25.19 million in claims against the company, according to Friday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA bought a $3.65 million claim from Alcan Rolled Products - Ravenswood, LLC; Merrill Lynch Credit Products, LLC bought a $10.44 million claim from AW Transmission Engineering U.S.A., Inc. and a $1.34 million claim from Aisin AW Co., Ltd.; Special Situations Investing Group bought a $6.15 million claim from ST Microelectronics, Inc.; and Longacre Master Fund Ltd. bought $3.61 million claim from NGK Automotive Ceramics USA, Inc.
Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
