Contrarian Funds buys $4.83 million in claims against Delphi

Pittsburgh, Feb. 16 - Contrarian Funds, LLC bought $4.83 million in general unsecured claims against Delphi Corp., according to Wednesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Contrarian bought a $3.59 million claim from Creative Engineered Polymer Products, LLC and a $1.24 million claim from Trostel, Ltd.

Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
