Delphi contract rejection ruling again postponed

Pittsburgh, Nov. 14 - Delphi Corp.'s hearing on its motion to reject collective bargaining agreements and modify retiree benefits has been further adjourned in light of progress made in out-of-court discussions, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The bankruptcy court has scheduled a chambers conference for Nov. 17 for status and scheduling purposes.
The contract rejection hearing was adjourned to a date to be determined by the court.
Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
