Delphi contract rejection hearing postponed again

Pittsburgh, Oct. 25 - Delphi Corp.'s hearing on its motion to reject collective bargaining agreements and modify retiree benefits has been further adjourned to allow for continued discussions, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The bankruptcy court has scheduled a chambers conference for Nov. 8 for status and scheduling purposes.

The contract rejection hearing was adjourned to a date to be determined by the court.

Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
