TPG Credit Opportunities buys $5.08 million in claims against Delphi debtor

Pittsburgh, May 15 - TPG Credit Opportunities bought $5.08 million of JPMorgan Chase Bank NA's claims against Delphi Corp. debtor Delphi Automotive Systems LLC, according to Thursday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, TPG Credit Opportunities Investors, LP bought a $2.76 million claim, and TPG Credit Opportunities Fund, LP bought a $2.32 million claim.

Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
