Delphi closes on sale of global interiors and closures business

Portland, Ore., March 10 - Delphi Corp. has completed the sale of its global interiors and closures business to Inteva Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Renco Group, Inc., according to a Renco news release.

Inteva bought the interiors and closures business for $106 million, according to previous court filings.

The transaction includes the entire book of business, manufacturing operations, intellectual property, supplier contracts and joint venture interests.

Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
