Goldman Sachs buys $8.99 million in claims against Delphi debtor

Pittsburgh, Feb. 5 - Goldman Sachs Credit Partners, LP bought $8.99 million of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.'s claims against Delphi Corp. debtor Delphi Automotive Systems LLC, according to Tuesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Specifically, Goldman Sachs bought a $6.68 million claim, a $1.31 million claim and a $1 million claim.
Delphi is a Troy, Mich., based automotive electronics manufacturer that filed for bankruptcy protection on Oct. 8, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
