SPCP Group, JPMorgan buy $4.28 million in claims against Delphi debtor

Pittsburgh, May 10 - SPCP Group, LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA bought $4.28 million in claims against Delphi Corp. debtor Delphi Automotive Systems LLC, according to Thursday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Specifically, SPCP bought Johnson Electric North America, Inc.'s $2.9 million claim, and JPMorgan bought Carolina Forge Co., LLC's $1.38 million claim.
Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
