Delphi posts $190 million November operating loss

Pittsburgh, Dec. 29 - Delphi Corp. reported a $190 million operating loss for November on net sales of $1.327 billion, according to a Friday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The figures show a decline over an $82 million October operating loss on net sales of $1.5 billion.
The operating loss included a $1.362 billion cost of sales and a total of $1.517 billion in operating expenses.
The net loss for November was $226 million, up significantly from a $54 million October net loss.
The November net loss included a $31 million interest expense.
Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
