Bear Stearns buys $6.39 million in claims against Delphi

Eugene, Ore., Sept. 1 - Bear Stearns Investment Products Inc. bought $6.39 million in claims against Delphi Corp., according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Bear Stearns bought a $4.15 million claim from Futaba Corp. of America and a $2.24 million claim from Trans Tron Ltd. Inc.

Delphi, a Troy, Mich.-based automotive electronics manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 8, 2005 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-44481.
