Deepwell Energy hopes to raise C$5.71 million in private placement

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 17 - Deepwell Energy Services Trust said it will raise C$5.71 million in a private placement.

Gibson Energy ULC will invest C$4.2 million and the remaining $1.51 million of securities will be purchased by the trust's existing unitholders.

Based in Calgary, Alta., Deepwell operates upstream oil and gas waste-management facilities.
