DayStar Technologies revises terms of $5.26 million of convertibles

Group of investors agrees to amend notes' maturity to April 22, 2011

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 21 - DayStar Technologies, Inc. amended $5.26 million in convertible promissory notes due Jan. 22, 2011 on Jan. 14, according to an 8-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors agreed to extend the maturity date of the notes to April 22, 2011.

The notes are held by Dynamic Worldwide Solar Energy, LLC; William Steckel; Robert Weiss; TD Warehouse RRSP Account 230832S, in trust for Peter Lacey; Michael Moretti and Tejas Securities Group, Inc. 401K Plan and Trust, FBO John Gorman.

Based in Milpitas, Calif., DayStar develops photovoltaic technologies that convert sunlight into energy.
