Darkstar prices $3.4 million direct public offering of stock at $1.70

Company sells 2 million common shares on a self-underwritten basis

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 6 - Darkstar Ventures, Inc. priced a $3.4 million direct public offering of stock in a Form S-1 filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company will sell between 14,700 and 2 million common shares at $1.70 per share on a self-underwritten basis. The minimum purchase is 100 shares.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt, for working capital, cash payments and acquisitions.

New York-based Darkstar is an emerging growth company.
