Charlotte, N.C., June 8 - Air Lease Corp. announced it issued $120 million of five-year 5% senior notes in a private placement to institutional investors.
Proceeds will be used to fund future fleet acquisitions, chief financial officer Jim Clarke said in a company news release.
The issuance constitutes the first time the Los Angeles-based aircraft leasing company has obtained long-term unsecured financing under the Securities and Exchange Commission's Regulation D in a private placement to institutional investors, the news release said.
