Air France-KLM tenders for €600 million of subordinated perpetuals

Chicago, Sept. 4 – Air France-KLM began tendering for its €600 million of subordinated perpetual notes issued in 2015 on Monday.

The first repayment option is Oct. 1, 2020.

The notes have been admitted for trading on Euronext Paris.

“With this transaction, the company will optimize its financing costs and continue to actively manage its balance sheet structure,” according to a press release.

The results will be announced Sept. 12.

No more details were included in the release.

Air France is a Roissy, France-based airline.
