Aircastle files automatic shelf registration covering debt and stock

Knoxville, Tenn., June 20 - Aircastle Ltd. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common shares, preference shares, depositary shares, debt securities, warrants, subscription rights, purchase contracts and purchase units, along with 11,750,002 common shares to be offered by selling shareholders.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

Aircastle is a Stamford, Conn., acquirer and leaser of high-utility commercial jet aircraft to airlines.
