Air Canada announces $300 million senior notes offering

Portland, Ore., April 7 - Air Canada, Canada's largest airline, announced in a Monday press release that it intends to offer $300 million of senior notes in a Rule 144A and Regulation S transaction.

The Montreal-based company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
