DirecTV says it has 7.2% equity stake in Crown Media

Philadelphia, Jan. 22 - The DirecTV Group, Inc. reported a 7.2% investment in Crown Media Holdings, Inc. as of Dec. 31, according to an SC 13G filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That represents a passive stake of 5,360,202 shares.

Crown is a Studio City, Calif.-based owner and operator of cable television channels.
