New Issue: Credit Suisse sells $11.49 million contingent coupon autocallables on ETFs

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 30 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch, priced $11.49 million of contingent coupon autocallable yield notes due Dec. 23, 2021 linked to the worst performing of the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund, the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund and the SPDR S&P Retail exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 10.5% if each ETF closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 70% of its initial level, on the observation date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par plus the coupon if all ETFs close at or above their respective initial levels on any quarterly observation date from March 20, 2020 to Sept. 20, 2021.

The payout at maturity will be par unless any ETF finishes below its 70% knock-in level, in which case investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the worst performing ETF.
