Credit Suisse plans two-year digital buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 29 – Credit Suisse AG, London branch plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due Jan. 29, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed payment percentage, which is expected to be 13.5% to 15.5% and will be set at pricing. If final index level is less than the initial level by not more than 10%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 10%.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes are expected to price Jan. 22 and settle Jan. 29.

The Cusip number is 22546VTH9.
