Credit Suisse plans Bares linked to Euro Stoxx, iShares EM basket

Madison, Wis., Aug. 1 – Credit Suisse AG plans to price 0% Buffered Accelerated Return Equity Securities due Aug. 20, 2019 linked to a basket consisting of the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 70% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund with a 30% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the basket return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 131.5% of the return. If the basket falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par. If the basket falls by more than 20%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the buffer.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.

The notes will price on Aug. 15 and settle on Aug. 20.

The Cusip number is 22547QRL2.
