Credit Suisse plans contingent coupon yield notes linked to Russell
By Susanna Moon
Chicago, Dec. 17 - Credit Suisse AG plans to price contingent coupon yield notes due Dec. 4, 2017 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 7.75% and 8% if the index closes at or above its 80% barrier level on the observation date for that quarter.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below the 80% knock-in level, in which case the payout will be par plus the return.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Dec. 20 and settle on Dec. 30.
The Cusip number is 22547QEY8.
