Omaha, May 1 - Credit Suisse, acting through its New York branch, priced $4 billion 5% five-year medium-term notes on Thursday to yield Treasuries plus 200 basis points, an informed source said.
The notes priced at 99.779 to yield 5.05%.
Credit Suisse Securities was the agent.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of existing debt outside of Switzerland.
The financial services company is based in Zurich.
