Credit Suisse to price Tier 1 capital notes

Omaha, March 24 - Credit Suisse, acting through its Guernsey Branch, announced an issue of Tier 1 capital notes Monday, according to a 424B2 Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The retail notes have coupon talk of 8%, a market source said, and are non-callable for five years.

Bookrunners are Credit Suisse Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. and Wachovia Capital Securities LLC.

Co-managers are Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. and UBS Investment Bank.

The financial services group is based in Zurich, Switzerland.
