China's Country Garden plans 10-year senior note offering

New York, Jan. 2 - Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. said it plans to offer 10-year senior notes in the international markets.

Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan will be joint global coordinators and also bookrunners along with BOC International and ICBC International Capital Ltd.

Proceeds will be used to repay the company's renminbi-denominated dollar-settled 2.5% convertible bonds due 2013 when they mature, to fund existing and new real estate projects, and for general corporate purposes.

Country Garden is a Foshan, China-based real-estate developer.
