Hong Kong's Country Garden to price five-year senior notes

New York, Aug. 3 - Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. said it plans to sell five-year senior notes in the international markets.

Bookrunners for the Regulation S deal will be Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd.

Proceeds will be used to refinance the company's remaining renminbi-denominated, dollar-settled 2.5% convertible bonds due 2013 and to fund existing and new property projects, according to a company announcement.

Country Garden is a Hong Kong-based property developer.
