Fitch lowers Risland debentures

Fitch Ratings said it lowered the ratings on Risland (Thailand) Co. Ltd.’s guaranteed debentures to B-(tha) from BBB+(tha).

Risland’s notes are guaranteed by Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. (CGH). In fact, Fitch said it based the rating entirely on Country Garden’s credit profile.

“The downgrade reflects our view that CGH's credit profile has weakened significantly,” the agency said in a press release.
