China’s Country Garden repurchases $10 million more 4¾% notes

Lexington, Ky., May 2 – Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. continued buybacks of its 4¾% notes, repurchasing $9 million of 4¾% senior notes due July 2022 (ISIN: XS1637076164) and $1 million of 4¾% senior notes due January 2023 (ISIN: XS1751178499) on the open market from March 14 and as of May 2, according to a notice.

The repurchased notes will be canceled, and the company said it will continue to monitor market conditions and may make further purchases.

Since Dec. 30, the company has repurchased $55.7 million principal amount of its notes due 2022, 2023 and 2026.

Country Garden is a Foshan, China, real estate developer.
