Jack Call to retire from Ultra Core Bond, Madison Core Bond funds

San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 17 - Ultra Series Fund and Madison Funds announced in separate 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Dean "Jack" Call will be retiring as co-portfolio manager of Ultra's Core Bond Fund and the Madison Core Bond Fund, effective June 30.

Randy Johnson and Greg Poplett will be joining existing co-manager Paul Lefurgey to manage both funds' portfolios, which each focus on investment-grade securities with an intermediate duration of three to seven years.

Madison, Wis.-based Madison Asset Management, LLC is the investment adviser to both funds.
