S&P: Cooper Tire unaffected

Standard & Poor's said its ratings on Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. are not immediately affected by the company's actions to lock out 1,051 members of United Steel Workers Local 207L on Nov. 29 at its Findlay, Ohio, tire plant. The labor contract has expired at this plant.

If the lockout were to persist and S&P came to believe that production, sales, and cash flow might be meaningfully affected, the outlook or rating on the company could be reviewed, the agency said.
