Morgan Stanley to price floating-rate notes due 2023 linked to CPI

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 22 – Morgan Stanley plans to price floating-rate notes due Nov. 16, 2023 linked to the Consumer Price Index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate will be the year-over-year change in the index plus 125 basis points. Interest will be payable monthly and cannot be less than zero.

The payout at maturity will be par.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Nov. 14 and settle on Nov. 16.

The Cusip number is 61760QMA9.
