New Issue: Agrium prices $500 million 6.75% notes due 2019 at Treasuries plus 310 bps

New York, Sept. 8 - Agrium Inc. priced $500 million of 6.75% notes due January 2019 on Monday to yield Treasuries plus 310 basis points, an informed source said.

The notes priced in line with talk that was in the 310 bps area, a source said.

Bookrunners were Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. and UBS Investment Bank.

The fertilizer company is based in Calgary, Alta.
