S&P takes Computer Sciences off watch

Standard & Poor's said that it affirmed the A- long-term corporate credit rating and A-2 short-term rating on Computer Sciences Corp. and removed them from CreditWatch, where they were placed with negative implications on June 20.

The outlook is negative.

The affirmation reflects the expectation that Computer Sciences will maintain good cash flow generation and a moderate leverage profile, the agency said

The ratings on Computer Sciences reflect the expectation that the company's strong business profile and significant base of contractually recurring revenues will support earnings and cash flow stability despite public sector revenue pressures and highly competitive industry conditions, the agency added.
