Chile's Compania de Acero del Pacifico to sell $200 million 30-year bullets

By Reshmi Basu

New York, Sept. 5 - Compania de Acero del Pacifico plans to issue $200 million of 30-year bullet notes (/BBB-/BBB-), according to a market source.

The deal will be structured as senior unsecured guaranteed notes.

Meanwhile a two-day European investor roadshow is slated to begin on Wednesday. The roadshow will then move to New York on Friday, to the West Coast on Sept. 11 and wrap up in Boston on Sept. 12.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes and for capital expenditures.

Citigroup and HSBC are bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S transaction.

The issuer is a state-owned corporation that also operates the nation's largest iron mines.
