Community Health Systems to redeem its 8 5/8% secured notes due 2024

New York, Jan. 26 – Community Health Systems, Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary, CHS/Community Health Systems, Inc., plans to redeem all of its outstanding 8 5/8% senior secured notes due 2024, according to a news release.

The notes will be redeemed with proceeds of a new notes offering and cash on hand.

The company intends to offer $1.095 billion of new senior notes due 2031, subject to market and other conditions.

Community Health is a Franklin, Tenn., hospital company.
