Columbia emerging markets funds name Stipp, Peta as portfolio managers

San Luis Obispo, Calif., June 5 - Columbia Funds Series Trust II announced that Henry Stipp and John Peta have been named portfolio managers of the Columbia Absolute Return Emerging Markets Macro Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Stipp will also be joining the portfolio management team for the Columbia Emerging Markets Bond Fund.

The appointments are effective on June 30.

Existing portfolio manager Jim Carlen will remain as part of the funds' portfolio management teams.

Boston-based Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC is the investment manager to the funds.
