By Andrea Heisinger

New York, April 29 - Colgate-Palmolive Co. is talking an offering of notes (Aa3/AA-/AA-) for pricing in Monday's session, a source close to the trade said.

There will be five-year notes, with guidance in the mid Treasuries plus 40 basis points area, along with 10-year notes talked in the high 60 bps area, the source said.

Bookrunners are BofA Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

The New York City-based consumer products company was last in the U.S. bond market with a $500 million offering of 1.95% notes due 2023 priced at 58 bps over Treasuries on July 27, 2012.
