Coca-Cola markets two-tranche offering of five- and 10-year notes

Tupelo, Miss., May 22 – Coca-Cola Co. plans to price two tranches of notes due 2022 and 2027, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Santander are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to purchase any notes tendered and accepted in the company’s tender offer and to pay consent payments in connection with any accepted consents. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Coca-Cola is an Atlanta-based beverage company.
