Moody's rates Coca-Cola notes Aa3
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating to the 18-month, three-year, five-year and 10-year bonds issued by Coca-Cola Co.
The outlook is stable.
The ratings reflect the system's leading position in the global carbonated soft drink industry, including its ownership of one of the most valuable consumer brands in the world, Moody's said.
The agency said it believes the company is having some success in its efforts to reinvigorate growth and to improve the financial performance of its bottlers, although growth will be more difficult to achieve in the current recessionary environment.
