S&P lifts CNH Global view to stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on CNH Global NV to stable from negative after making the same outlook revision on CNH's parent company, Italy-based automaker Fiat SpA (BB-/stable/B).

The corporate credit ratings and outlooks on CNH Global NV and Fiat are the same because of the close ties between the two entities.

S&P said the revision on Fiat reflects improved financial flexibility at the challenged automaker after a spate of recent transactions.

Ratings affirmed include Case Corp.'s senior unsecured debt at BB-, Case Credit Corp.'s senior unsecured debt at BB- and Case New Holland Inc.'s senior unsecured debt at BB-.
