S&P revises Aflac view to stable

S&P said it revised the outlook for Aflac Inc. to stable from positive and affirmed the company’s A- rating.

The revision and affirmation follow similar action on Japan, S&P said.

“Our ratings on Aflac are constrained by our rating on Japan because the majority of Aflac’s assets are based in, and earnings from, Japan,” S&P said in a press release.
