Aflac preparing to price senior notes via five bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., March 30 – Aflac Inc. plans to offer senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have a make-whole call and then are callable at par.

Bookrunners are Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Mizuho Securities USA Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.

The company provides supplemental health and life insurance through its subsidiaries and is based in Columbus, Ga.
