Dormitory Authority of the State of New York plans to price $3.89 billion bonds

Springdale, Ark., April 25 - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York expects to price $3.893 billion of bonds with several issuers in May and June, according to an anticipated sales calendar.

The sales in May include $1.2 billion of improvement program bonds, a partial refunding, from the state's Mental Health Services Facilities; $131 million of personal income tax revenue refunding bonds from the state's Economic Development and Housing and Education departments; $104 million partial refunding issue from the Pratt Institute; $60 million of bonds for the state's Residential Institutions for Children; $190 million of variable-rate refunding bonds from St. John's University; and $58 million of refunding bonds from Upstate Community Colleges.

Fordham University intends to price $105 million of variable-rate refunding bonds in May and $125 million of bonds in June.

Sales in June include $715 million of refunding bonds from the City University of New York; $720 million of refunding bonds from the state's Municipal Health Facilities Improvement Program; and $485 million of variable-rate bonds from New York University.
