New Issue: Citigroup prices $2.38 million inverse buffered PLUS linked to index basket

Tacoma, Wash., May 21 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2.38 million of 0% inverse buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Nov. 20, 2020 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The basket is comprised of the S&P 500 index with a 40% weight, the Nasdaq-100 index with a 40% weight and the MSCI World index with a 20% weight.

If the final basket level is less than the initial basket level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 3% for every 1% that the basket declines, subject to a maximum return of 13.3%.

If the final basket level is equal to the initial basket level or greater than the initial basket level by no more than 10%, the payout will be par.

If the final basket level is greater than the initial basket level by more than 10%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the basket advances beyond 10%.
