Citi plans to price market-linked notes due 2022 tied to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., April 15 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% market-linked notes due April 21, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 73% of any index gain. If the index finishes flat or falls, the payout will be par plus the return of the index, subject to a minimum payout of 95% of par.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on April 17.
The Cusip number is 17326YS72.
