Citigroup plans enhanced barrier digital plus notes on SPDR S&P 500

Chicago, March 1 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% enhanced barrier digital plus securities due June 25, 2020 linked to the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund finishes at or above its 85% barrier level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of any index gain and the fixed return amount of 7% to 8%. The exact digital return will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.

The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes will price on March 21.

The Cusip number is 17324XFJ4.
